Content and physical description
ContentThe writer apologises for the long silence, he was ill and had to leave, and everything remained pending while he was absent. Now he is travelling through Paris to London, where he will stay 14 days. He will be back in Mainz on 15 November. He has submitted the score of CONCERTO FOR VIOLIN AND ORCH. NO. 1 concerto to have the piano score made. The first movement is ready and has been sent to Samuel Dushkin, and he expects the other two parts soon. SD will finally look through the score again and return it to be printed. He himself will see him in Paris and they will agree upon everything. He likes his CONCERTINO FOR PIANO TRIO very much, but he isn´t sure, what can be done with it by the publisher. Another two photo copies of the score can be made, so that the original can be retained. They will be glad to undertake the work’s sale, thus drawing attention to the piece’s existence in catalogues. It seems to him to be the only possibility of valorising this really nice work.
